The Beauty of London

The Clock Tower, Big Ben is the bell inside.

The lion was not drinking during my visit.  However, based on the newpapers it was about to a week later.  (That means the Thymes is flooding.)

I got a wave from the Tower Bridge,  so my good luck should be starting soon.

The House of Commons eating area is the green.  The House of Lords is the red.  They do not mix.  However, I got a wave from both.  No luck is associated with their waves.  Think about it...politicians give away good luck.  Nope, they definately want to keep that for themselves.

I thought this entryway was so cool.

A trip to England would not be complete without this.  Mind the gap!  Mind your head!  Mind the door.  Mind anything really. :)

Alnwick Castle

This is a beautiful Castle, owned by the Duke of Northumberland!

Imagine this as the entry into your house.  It definately has curb appeal!

It probably didn't hurt that parts of Harry Potter were filmed here!

All things Harry Potter

I am delighted to report that I was in London for the release of the 7th and final Harry Potter Book!  It was the experience of a lifetime.  So, of course I must show some HP related pictures!

I was ready to board the train, but it was July, not September 1st!

Here is Gringotts or muggles call it the Austrialian House.

Lisa and I sat in the Royal Box for Mary Poppins.  (The British were trying to make up for not letting Papa and I have the crown jewels that our Tower of London pass promised. :)

The opening night of Sectus!  Spirits were already high!

Steve and I made last minute predictions, which would be frozen in time.  We were suprisingly accurate!  Now would also be a good time to point out that I was right about Snape all along.   

We are in line counting down until the release!  We have our tickets and are in the front of the line.

They gave me a Nagini to eat, rather than be eaten by Nagini and a licorice wand too!

There was a least one Death Eater present, but it wasn't Snape.

We have our books.  Take a picture now,  because you won't see me again until I have finished!
